First, you will need to install the Xbox Live Extras App on your phone. This is actually pretty simple to do. Tap the “Games” icon, and then flick left until you see your avatar. Tap your Gamertag and there should be some easy to follow instructions detailing how to install the app to your Windows 7 Phone.

• United Kingdom & Ireland
• Canada
• Australia
• New Zealand
• Singapore
• Hong Kong SAR
If your country is not listed, then sorry, you can’t use the Xbox Live app!

What Can You Do On The App?

The most basic things you can do with the app is viewing your Xbox Live profile, friends, and also sending messages. You can get to this by going to your avatar and clicking your Gamertag - Then flick left and you can see your Achievements, Friends and Messages.

But of course, this is what you downloaded the app for isn’t it? To play or find Xbox Live games compatible with your Windows Phone. To find games, tap the game you want to play, or you can tap “Get More Games” to find new games to play. Windows Phone also allows you to play games with your friends who are also on Windows Phone - Or more specifically, turn based games. When you tap a multiplayer game to play, tap “Multiplayer” and then you can invite friends with their email addresses. The email is sent to your friends, where they can join your game over the phone or through the web.
