T-Mobile US today announced a new lineup of full QWERTY messaging phones from Samsung. The new Samsung Gravity 3, Gravity T and Samsung (Smiley) will be available exclusively on T-Mobile USA and bring in the latest in messaging capabilities and web access.

These phones also feature extended social networking integration to keep you connected always. This include a new social networking feature called T-Mobile Social Buzz, which helps integrates feeds from different social networking services into a single application. Social Buzz is capable of running in background and deliver notifications even when not actively in use.

The Gravity 3 features a traditional T9 keypad as well as a slide-out QWERTY keyboard for messaging. The Gravity T has a 2.8-inch touchscreen and a slideout QWERTY keyboard as well offering both a touchscreen interface and messaging experience at an affordable price. Both the Gravity handsets include a 2 Megapixel camera and camcorder along with a browser, music player and supports upto 16GB of expandable memory.

Samsung Smiley

The oddly named Samsung (“Smiley”) has a different design from the Gravity phones, with a compact rounded shape. It has a slideup vertical QWERTY keyboard as well as a dedicated shortcut for quick access to messaging apps, IM, email etc. The also has an easy-to-use interface, a 1.3MP camera and camcorder, a music player, microSD slot and Exchange and e-mail support.

Prices for the Smiley, Gravity 3, and Gravity T are $19.99, $49.99, and $74.99 respectively, with new two-year service agreements.
